Atop a soaring oceanfront bluff, the legendary Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel — famed for its breathtaking views, refined elegance and Hollywood glamour — is nestled among quaint cottages and art galleries, lush sub-tropical gardens, sandy coves, and signature golf courses: a sanctuary within an hour's drive of Los Angeles.
This year's Weekends will celebrate the landmark of 100 Renaissance Weekends and launch "the next 100."
Less than 45 days before the Weekend, a $150/person Late Fee applies. Accommodations at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, typically are fully booked by January 1.
On a 150-foot bluff, the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel's serene, garden-like retreat, honored for environmental sensitivity and impeccable service, sits on Dana Point. For more than a century, Laguna's seven-mile scenic coastline and perfect weather have served as Southern California's most celebrated artist haven. The harbor hosts whale-watching, walking, biking, sailing, para-sailing, sport fishing, and dozens of shops and restaurants.
Overlooking the Pacific, the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel's award-winning spa, oceanfront fitness center, and outdoor swimming pools provide a backdrop for Renaissance Weekend participants' post-panel conversations and complimentary yoga, tennis, Pilates, or bodyboarding during breaks in the program.
The Weekend's unscheduled afternoons could include golf at nearby Jack Nicklaus or Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed courses (preferred tee times available to participants), surfing Dana Point's legendary waves, or visiting multi-cultural attractions ranging from historical Mission San Juan Capistrano to the Laguna Art Museum and, for families, Sea World or Disneyland.
