Ambassador and Mrs. Lader’s daughters, Whitaker and Mary-Catherine Lader, co-host Renaissance Weekends.

Whitaker, a film & TV producer, leads actor Nicholas Hoult's production company. Previously, she worked with Ron Howard's and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment, Casey Affleck's production company, and Sundance Institute. Her films have premiered at the Venice, Toronto and Sundance Film Festivals and featured such actors as Vanessa Kirby, Elisabeth Moss, Casey Affleck and Katherine Waterston.

She received an M.B.A. degree from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Urban Studies from Brown University, where she was Executive Director of the Ivy Film Festival.
