Ambassador and Mrs. Lader’s daughters, Whitaker and Mary-Catherine Lader, co-host Renaissance Weekends.

Whitaker, a film & TV producer, runs actor Nicholas Hoult's production company. Previously, she produced under Ron Howard's and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment, led Casey Affleck's production company, and worked at Sundance Institute. Her films have premiered at the Venice, Toronto, Cannes and Sundance Film Festivals.

She received an M.B.A. degree from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Urban Studies from Brown University, where she was Executive Director of the Ivy Film Festival.
